Cubot Cheetah, the collaboration result between Cubot and Cheetah Mobile is on its way to the market and it carries some interesting features as the integration of Clean Master and the exclusive super power-saving mode, along with 10GB of free cloud storage.
On build quality, the Cheetah is made out of aluminum using CNC cutting technology to reduce weight and make it as thin as possible. Thin means 4.5mm at its thinnest point while managing to fit a 3,050mAh battery under the hood. In addition, the whole metal enclosure doubles as a GPS antenna for optimum satellite reception.
As competition has become very intense, Cubot chose to go with a very capable Samsung camera sensor of 13MP with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus), giving the sensor the ability to focus fast and shoot fast.
Another feature that has become a standard for most smartphones nowadays is the gyroscope that becomes handy in 3D games as well as in navigation, helping to keep the map correctly oriented, especially when passing through tunnels.
To the rest of the specs, the device offers 3GB/32GB of memory combination, octa-core 64bit SoC, 5.5″ FHD display, dual-SIM dual standby and fingerprint sensor.
The Cubot Cheetah is on a presale campaign from May 24-29 with a selling price of $179.99 while 5 pieces will be sold every day for a price of $149.99. Go ahead and grab yours here.
