Quad-core MTK Zopo C1 is a ZP810+ running Alibaba’s Aliyun
Alibaba are really pushing their custom version of Android named Aliyun and recently launched 6 new phones running the OS, one of them being the Zopo C1.

From the photos and specifications, the Zopo C1 appears to be almost identical to the current quad-core Zopo ZP810+ and Hero H7500+, but with a smaller 2000mAh battery.

The rest of the hardware is exactly the same though so if you were to pick one of these $160 (Chinese price) Aliyun powered phones up the following features would come as standard; quad-core MT6589 CPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, 1280 x 720 5-inch display, 8 mega-pixel rear camera, SD card slot and dual-sim support.

The OS on the C1 does look more polished than the Android build found on the ZP810+ or Hero phones, however the integration of Alibaba cloud services isn’t likely to appeal to Android phone fans not living in China.

This recent push by Alibaba to strengthen Aliyon OS, if successful, could eventually see the E-commerce giant buying out a Chinese phone company and sources are suggesting it could be JiaYu!
