It looks like we’ll be getting our hands on the second-generation of the Moto 360 smartwatch soon as popular gadget info leaker @upleaks has unveiled that the Moto 360 II is schedule to launch sometime this month with a sport version launching in November. @upleaks also posted several pictures of the different variants of the new Moto 360.
If the leaked information is accurate, the second-generation Moto 360 will probably be launched during the IFA expo in Berlin this week and two variants of the Moto 360 II will be launched – a smaller Moto 360S which will feature a 38mm dial and a 270mAh battery and a larger Moto 360L with a 42mm dial and a 375mAh battery.
The second-generation Moto 360 features many of the same design features of the original Moto 360 with the most notable change being the change in position of the device’s crown from the 3-o’clock position to the 2-o’clock position.
The two initial variants of the Moto 360 II will come in a several color options as well as several strap options including steel and leather ones. As for the sports version, the leaked images show three color variants – black, white, and orange – and what we assume is a flexible rubber-like material for the dial’s body as well as the strap.
