The Smartisan T2 and its higher-end counterpart the T2 Pro are two of the most anticipated upcoming Chinese-manufactured smartphones and today more information on the upcoming flagship has been leaked.
According to the leak, while the T2 will keep the simple and symmetrical design of its predecessor, it will come with a few design upgrades including a new borderless design as well as front and back 2.5D curved 4th generation Gorilla Glass panels.
Previous leaks have also revealed that the T2 will feature a 5-inch full HD 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a USB Type-C connector, and Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Additionally, Smartisan also plans to release the aforementioned T2 Pro which will feature a more powerful processor in the upcoming Snapdragon 820 and will introduce a fingerprint sensor.
The release dates of the T2 and T2 Pro are still unknown but it would be safe to assume that the T2 Pro will be released sometime in the first quarter of 2016 as the Snapdragon 820 isn’t expected to release until the end of the year or early next year. As for its price, the T2 is rumored to be priced at around 3,000 Yuan.
