Meizu M2 Note Hands-on Pictures Released

Sina has released actual images of Meizu’s latest smartphone, the M2 Note, which was officially launched in China earlier today.

The M2 Note does still keep the same plastic shell and keeps almost the same measurements and weight as its predecessor at 150.9×75.2×8.7mm and 149 grams, respectively. The power button on the M2 Note has also been moved to the side of the device under the volume rocker as users found it difficult to press the top-mounted button found on the older M1 Note.

The new smartphone also features a new 5.5-inch full HD Sharp IGZO display as well as a 13-megapixel rear camera with a five-element f/2.2 lens, a blue glass IR filter, and a dual-LED flash. It also comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture lens and a 69-degree wide capture angle.

The M2 Note supports dual-SIM standby with 4G LTE connectivity along with Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.0. The new device will run on the company’s Flyme 4.5 OS which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. As for storage, the M2 Note will be available in a number of variants with different internal storage capacities. Additionally, the M2 Note supports expandable storage via its hybrid SIM slot that also acts as a microSD card slot.

As previously mentioned, the M2 Note will be available in two storage variants – a 16GB variant priced at 799 Yuan and a 32GB variant priced at 999 Yuan. Both devices will become available starting June 12.
