Meizu has officially launched its m2 smartphone in the Indian market. It will be the third device that company has launched in India since the company started bringing their devices into the fast-growing market last April. The first two devices Meizu launched in India were the m2 note and the MX5.
The Meizu m2 is the smaller version of the m2 note. It features a 5.0-inch 720 display, a MediaTek MT6735 64-bit quad-core processor coupled with a Mali-T720 MP2 graphics chip, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, dual SIM dual standby support, 4GB LTE connectivity, support for expandable storage via microSD up to an extra 128GB through the second SIM card slot. It’s also equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 2500mAh battery. It will run on Meizu’s Flyme OS 4.5 which is based on Android 5.1.
The Meizu m2 will officially release in India on October 12 although the company has announced pricing for the device. For reference, the m2 is priced at 599 Yuan or around $96 in China.[source]
