About a week back we reported about the existence of Cool1 smartphone, the result of collaboration between LeEco and Coolpad. This smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup and other high-end features to woo the customers. Now it has been made official that Cool1 will be officially launched on August 16. Yes, it is finally coming on August 16 and will be unveiled at a press conference in Beijing, China. A teaser has been launched for the same which you can check out below. It seems like dual camera smartphones are the latest attraction in the town.
The brand names LeEco and Coolpad are mentioned on the top left corner of the teaser with Cool1 mentioned at the bottom. A TENNA leak has further revealed the specifications of this smartphone which include a 5.5-inch 2K display and Snapdragon 820 under the hood. It will be equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

It will feature 13MP dual rear sensors in addition to a 5MP front facing camera. A fingerprint sensor is housed on the back as well and there is a 4200mAh battery for giving longer operating times. There is no confirmation of the price of this smartphone but given the history of LeEco’s aggressive pricing, we can expect this smartphone to be priced well under 1999 Yuan ($300). We have seen the launch of another dual camera smartphone, Xiaomi Redmi Pro priced at 1499 Yuan ($224). So, we can expect it to be priced more or less a figure around it. [source]
