We already know that, another Nexus smartphone is coming very soon, but built by whom? Both Huawei and LG are rumored to be making Google’s reference device for Android M, and we now have pretty solid evidence for LG Smartphones. Some reports say that Google won’t wait until October to roll out the upcoming Android M on Android devices, which means that the Nexus 5 2015 will come earlier than expected.
Well, everything aside, thanks to the leaked photo originally posted in the Nexus Indonesia Google+ community, we might have our first glimpse of the new Nexus 5 in the wild. A photo has been posted online, allegedly of the Nexus 5 2015 build.
So, size-wise, it appears to line up with the 5.2-inch rumors & also features a rear fingerprint scanner, protruding camera, laser auto-focus, dual-LED, iPhone 6-style flash and plastic galore. The picture shows the back of a white Nexus device. As well as a prominent “Not for Sale” sticker and surely the Nexus logo, the rear of the device features an LG sticker too. Regarding the specs, the device is supposed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 CPU which is good for this device so far.
So, if the device is for a real, then plastic body is not still bad though. It surely means that Google is coming back to its lower priced roots again through this Nexus device. It is pretty much obvious that the smaller will be made by LG, while Huawei will handle the larger model. We can still hope for some nice camera sensors by LG, not like the older one which was a little laggy.
We’ll be keeping an eye out for some other leaks that verify or contradict this photo posted. So, stay with us for upcoming news and updates.
