Yi Technology is all set to unveil a new model of its Yi action camera today. We had reported on the invitation to the launch last week and in case you don’t know, Yi Technology has finally ditched using the Yi brand name on its camera product. This is an indication it is no longer part of the Xiaomi Ecosystem.
Ahead of the launch, photos of the expected camera have leaked online showing the camera will use a design similar to the renowned Lecia T camera. The camera also has similar focus performance and EP2 double lens set as the Leica T. The Yi Technology will also come with support for 4K video capture similar to the Panasonic GX8 core’s but will not have a view finder.
