Elephone has launched the next flagship device, Elephone P9000 in a press conference held on July 13 in Vietnam. In addition to that, the brand also launched Elephone S1 which is an affordable Android smartphone. The press conference was reportedly attended by over 50 media and TV station (2) members and was hosted with the help of Lazada.com. This makes it the second South East Asian country after the Philippines where Elephone has expanded its presence recently.
So let’s take a quick tour through the features and specifications of these smartphones.
Elephone P9000 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display and flaunts a metallic build with a nearly bezel-less design. The smartphone is pretty slim and looks premium. It is fueled by a MediaTek MT6755 i.e. Helio P10 chipset clocking 2GHz aided by 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It comes with a fingerprint sensor housed for added security.
Elephone P9000 features a 13MP rear camera with SonyIMX258 lens and on the front there is an 8MP camera. This smartphone runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box and supports 4G LTE connectivity in addition to other connectivity features like WiFi,3G, Bluetooth,GPS and USB Type-C. It is fueled by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support. The battery on this smartphone gets fully charged in just 70 minutes.

That being said, Elephone S1 is an affordable Android smartphone and features a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution. It is fueled by a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core chipset clocking 1.3GHz. It comes equipped with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage with SDcard support. This smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is upgradable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It features a 13Mp rear camera and all the usual connectivity features in addition to 4G LTE support. This smartphone too comes with a fingerprint sensor housed on the back.
